MAC Group’s senior compliance officer, Clare Rundle, has successfully completed the International Compliance Association (ICA) Certified Head of Compliance course, gaining a respected qualification for senior compliance professionals and those preparing for leadership roles within compliance functions.

The Douglas provider of financial advice and insurance solutions say the achievement further strengthens the expertise within its compliance team and reflects Clare's ongoing commitment to professional development.

It also builds on her existing ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance, as well as the practical experience she has gained throughout her compliance career and through her membership of the Alliance of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals (AICP).

Clare said: ‘I am very pleased to have completed the ICA Certified Head of Compliance qualification. The course provided valuable insight into the challenges and responsibilities of leading a compliance function, while broadening my understanding of regulatory expectations.

‘The knowledge I've gained will help me continue to support the business in maintaining strong compliance standards and positive outcomes for our clients. I'd like to thank MAC Group and my colleagues for their support throughout my studies.'

Head of compliance at the Athol Street firm Nigel McGowan said: 'This is an excellent achievement and one that reflects Clare's professionalism, dedication and commitment to continuous learning. The ICA Certified Head of Compliance programme is a highly regarded qualification that requires a significant investment of time and effort, alongside the demands of a full-time role.

‘Clare is a valued member of our team and her success further strengthens the depth of knowledge and expertise we can provide across the Group. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to seeing her continue to develop her career within the business.'
