He is Manx and he lives in Douglas. He was educated at Ballakermeen High School. He likes to participate in local sport and he plays for Onchan Football Club and is also captain of Finch Hill Cricket Club, where he also helps with the coaching of junior teams.

Manxmove’s Graham Wilson said: ‘Customer service is of paramount importance to us.
‘We have worked hard over the last eight years to build up an excellent reputation.
‘We are very particular in the way we conduct our business so it is very important to us to be able to personally train our agents to do things “The Manxmove way”.
‘Troy should be an ideal addition to the team as he is already suitably qualified and, while he has some experience within a busy well regarded local commercial estate agency.
‘We can provide the one-on-one training to help him make the transition over to the residential side of our business.
‘It is incredible to see how a business that started off in the corner of my living room at home has rapidly grown over the last few years.
‘A business is only as good as its staff and my business partner Ian Lloyd and I are very proud and appreciative of all of the efforts from all of the dedicated hardworking team at Manxmove.’
Mr Parker said: ‘I have watched the company grow steadily over the years and, having discussed the position with Graham and Ian, everything felt right.
‘I am looking forward to switching to residential estate agency and learning how to do things the Manxmove way.
‘Having already gained experience in one sector of the Isle of Man property market I felt it was time to move on, and there was no better place to learn than here at Manxmove.’
