Ramsey-based finance sector firm FPS Group has a new boss.

Matthew Parsons is the new managing director of Freelance Professional Services, after the resignation of Matthew Huddleston, who has held the position since 2012.

Mr Parsons joined FPS Group in 2009 following a career within banking, life assurance and the recruitment industry.

He said: ’Matt Huddleston has been both a mentor and friend throughout our time working together. As sales director, I have been heavily involved in the growth of the business over recent years.

’While the market is in a state of flux given recent legislative changes, we continue to be in the perfect position to capitalise on this. Our compliant approach and customer service ethos is exactly what this industry needs.’

Mr Huddleston said: ’I am delighted to have Matt as my successor to the role. He has been of enormous support to me during my time as anaging Director and is unquestionably the right person to take the business forward. His boundless energy, enthusiasm for the business and superb industry knowledge will, without doubt, drive FPS to new levels of success. Over the next couple of months I very much look forward to assisting him in every way possible with a smooth transition into the job.’

Established in 1994, FPS Group provides payroll services for UK contractors and temporary staff.
