Martin Hall has been appointed to the board of directors at independent corporate and trust services firm Peregrine Corporate Services Limited.
Mr Hall joined the firm in Burleigh Manor, Peel Road, Douglas, last month.
He said: ’It’s an exciting time to have joined the Peregrine team.
’I have been made to feel really welcome and I already feel part of the Peregrine family. I’m looking forward to working with the other board members and supporting the company’s ambitious and innovative growth strategy.’
Mr Hall has worked in the island’s finance industry for all of his working life, originally starting out with the Isle of Man Government then moving into the private sector some years later.
His previous experiences include the day-to-day management of a fiduciary department and also developing a pension division in the same firm, which ranged from product development, systems and operations management and recruitment.
In 2006 Mr Hall became STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualified after taking the society’s professional qualification.
Mr Hall is a keen cyclist and is the chairman of Isle of Man Cycling and his own cycling club, Manx Viking Wheelers.
Basil Bielich, director at Peregrine, said: ’Martin has a wealth of experience across both the public and private sectors which will enable him to provide a significant contribution to the Peregrine board.
’My co-directors and I are confident that Martin will help shape the future of Peregrine and we are delighted that he has chosen to join the Peregrine board.’
