A company specialising in insurance brokerage has launched a new venture in the island.
But the newly-formed island team are working from home right now as their Athol Street, Douglas, office has closed its doors due to the coronavirus lockdown.
The UK headquarters of chartered insurance broker Hazelton Mountford is in Worcester but the group decided to launch a new insurance brokerage in the island.
It is under the command of local directors husband and wife team Lara and Nathan Bloch.
A spokesman said Hazelton Mountford (IOM) Ltd is ’very much open for business’ during the Covid-19 lock down in the island.’
Group managing director, Gordon Hazelton, said: ’We’re delighted to have launched our new offices in the Isle of Man and look forward to meeting more and more residents and businesses in due course.’
He added: ’We are very much here for our clients and if you need a quote or general insurance advice, please contact us as normal.
’Lara and Nathan are exceptional and can assist with all of your queries and ensure you are informed, advised and covered for what you and your business actually need.’ The brokerage claims it has the ability to access insurance markets often only available to much larger businesses.
