The Co-op has launched its first on-demand home delivery service in the island from its Ramsey store.
It allows shoppers to select from around 4,000 products on Co-op’s website, which offers home delivery or click-and-collect slots.
Products are selected and picked by the Co-op in Ramsey.
A click-and-collect service is also available through the online shop.
The online delivery service travels up to 6.5 miles across the IM8, and part of the IM7 postal area, covering Ramsey and the north of the island.
The Co-op is marking the 100th anniversary of its first store on the Isle of Man, which opened in Duke Street, Douglas, in 1920.
Later this year, the Co-op will open a new store in Crosby, taking the retailer’s store count in the island to 11.
Andy Corrie, Co-op area manager, said: ’This is an exciting year for our Co-op, marking 100 years since our first store opened we will see the launch of an online service for the first time, and a new store opening later in the year.
’With our store colleagues locally carefully selecting the products the service really does compliment clicks and bricks.
’The Co-op has a proud past, and an exciting future as we continue to work to get closer to our members and customers.’
