Robinson’s Fresh Foods has issued a product recall on its bags of mixed vegetables.

The wholesaler revealed the issue on Wednesday morning.

The products affected are Robinson’s soup mix 2.5kg pack and 500g pack best before September 4, diced onion 500g best before September 3 as well as Carrot and Swede 600g best before September 2.

On Facebook, Robinson’s advised: ’Please dispose of any of these purchased in last 24 hours and call into your store for refund or call 690000.’

A spokesman for Robinson’s told the Manx Independent that the issue had been resolved and the recall had been a ’precautionary measure’.
