A professional services provider has made senior management changes.

Suntera Global has since 2020 been the new name of what was the SMP Group.

It has appointed Ted Pepper as chief risk officer and Mark Reynolds as chief operating officer in the Isle of Man office.

Formerly managing director of the group’s digital division, Mr Pepper will take on responsibility for the governance, risk and compliance functions across the international group while retaining his role as director of the group’s digital division.

He is a fellow of the International Compliance Association and has held senior risk and compliance positions with the group over the past 12 years.

Having played a role in developing the group’s specialist digital team over the past decade, he has an expert knowledge and well-established track record of defining and managing risk.

Meanwhile, Mr Reynolds will retain his role of managing director of the Isle of Man office and will also act as chief operating officer, with responsibility for overseeing Suntera’s global office network and expanding multi-jurisdictional team.

Mr Reynolds has worked in the corporate services and digital industries in the Isle of Man for more than 15 years and re-joined Suntera Global in 2020 after having previously been business development manager between 2010 and 2014.

An associated member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, he has senior level experience of managing international growth businesses.

The changes to the senior management team reflect the growth of Suntera Global.

And the changes also build on the management buy-out in June 2019.

In addition, Sharon De Mendonca, formerly the group’s global head of HR (humsm resources) has been elevated to the group’s leadership team as chief people officer.

A CIPD Fellow, with more than 20 years in HR, she joined the group in 2020 bringing extensive experience in HR roles across numerous international professional services firms.

She is currently based at the group’s Jersey office.
