This year’s ISLEXPO event promises to provide a varied and inclusive one-day programme for businesses of all sizes and sectors to find inspiration and advice.
The programme is packed with a schedule of keynote speakers, workshops, live pitching, funding advice and pop-up talks.
And the day will culminate with a celebration of live music from local musicians, artisan food and drink, and opportunities for networking.
Hosted by the Department for Enterprise, the free conference takes place at the Villa Marina on Wednesday, May 16.
Here are details of keynote speakers:
lDan Germain, head of brand and creative of innocent has been with the international award-winning drinks brand since it all began in 1999 and is ready to share his knowledge of the entrepreneurial ability, innovation and creativity it takes to succeed.
lEmma Gannon, an award-winning former social media editor of British Glamour, author and renowned podcaster will talk about how to balance having two jobs, making time, avoiding burnout and the future of work.
lThimon De Jong, a futurist and global thought leader on societal trends will lead an energetic exploration of the latest research into cultural and behavioural shifts and how to apply this information to future proof people’s business.
l Global HR expert Matt Alder will highlight the latest work in digital recruitment and employee retention with top tips and examples of employers who are securing leading talent.
lErika Rushton, the visionary chairman and director of Baltic Creative, Liverpool and cultural economist, is set to share her incredible experience working on transformative projects across northern Liverpool.
lDavid Levin, creative director of award-winning social content agency That Lot will be back by popular demand, sharing stellar social insights and content strategy tips for businesses.

Centred on the theme of ’Locate’, ISLEXPO 2018 aims to position the Isle of Man as a ’unique’ business destination with a focus on the highlights and challenges facing local and locating businesses.
