A firm which specialises in direct holidays from the island has announced an expansion in services.
Freedom Travel, of Strand Street, Douglas, says it is making an additional investment in its 2018 programme and is confident the undertaking will pay off.
Jan Wozniak of Freedom Travel said: ’Our decision to expand our programme for this year, in conjunction with our partners British Airways, reflects our confidence and belief, as a Manx business, in the strength of our local economy. We’re very excited to be able to offer more than ever before to holidaymakers.’
Freedom claims to be the first travel agency in the Isle of Man to offer direct holidays to the sun. The business says the convenience of not having to travel to the UK first, along with the advantages of daytime flights from Ronaldsway Airport, has proved a big hit with customers. Extra dates have been added to the Balearic Islands service to cover the month of October, including the Autumn school half-term holiday. Jan said: ’Our direct flight programme starts on May 5 and continues all the way through to October 29.
’We’re always looking at new destinations for Isle of Man travellers who really appreciate just one check-in and the personal service, while they enjoy their holiday, offered by our on-site representatives.
In this year’s programme, holidaymakers can enjoy a one or two week stay, direct from Ronaldsway, and we are offering free child places on selected hotels.
’This will be our ninth year to the Balearics and our customers can take confidence in our wide experience of these sunny islands.’
