PwC Isle of Man has further strengthened its advisory practice with a familiar face in island business.
Kath Quayle (née Black) joins the senior management team after gaining extensive experience across a range of senior, executive, statutory and regulatory positions in the banking, wealth management and eGaming sectors.
Her return to PwC completes a route which has come full circle since she began her professional life in the Isle of Man with the company in 2002.
Kath spent five years working for two of the ‘big four’ accountancy practices in the UK and on the island, during which time she qualified as a chartered accountant. Her career then continued into the island’s banking and wealth management sectors for nine years.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, she also spent time in the eGaming sector as the chief financial officer of a licensed gaming operator with a broad remit across finance, risk and regulatory disciplines.
She said: ‘I am thrilled to be re-joining PwC Isle of Man, having qualified as a chartered accountant with the firm at the dawn of my career.
‘This marks my return to the professional services sector after spending a number of years in senior executive roles in the island’s wealth management and eGaming sectors.
‘I look forward to being an integral part of the advisory practice of PwC Isle of Man and being able to draw upon my own industry experience to provide assistance to our clients in a challenging and evolving regulatory landscape.’
Steve Billinghurst, advisory director with PwC Isle of Man, said: ‘I am delighted with the appointment of such a talented individual and welcome Kath back as an integral part of our team.’
