With the snow continuing to fall, fire crews have been called upon today to deal with a number of incidents including a road collision, a medical emergency and domestic flooding.
Crews worked closely with the paramedics to cut the casualty from the car and help with their transfer to the waiting ambulance.
Shortly afterwards, crews from Douglas were called out to a medical emergency.
Firefighters worked with paramedics to remove the casualty from the building before being taken to hospital in the ambulance accompanied by the off-road 6x6 Pinzgauer.
Crews from Kirk Michael have also been dealing with a domestic flooding incident in the village.
The Fire & Rescue Service said it is ready to assist in all types of weather but urged remind members of the public to consider their own safety and to make only essestial journeys on the roads and drive to the conditions.
