The Friends of Scoill Vallajeelt is hosting a Great Gatsby-themed ball.

It follows the success of a ball, also open to the public, in 2016.

Tickets cost £40, which includes prosecco on arrival, a three-course carvery meal and DJ entertainment.

There will also be a raffle.

A spokesman said: ’The dress code is not fancy dress but hey we all love a bit of Gatsby glam. Black tie/ suits for the men - anything goes!’
