The sixth CAMRA Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival returns to the Villa Marina in April.

And it aims to build on the huge success of last year’s festival when more than 3,000 visitors enjoyed a vast array of real ales, ciders, perries and fruit wines.

The festival takes place a week before Easter, from Thursday, April 6 to Saturday, April 8.

As with last year’s event, the bars will be situated in the Royal Hall. There will be over 150 real ales, plus a large variety of ciders, perries and fruit wines.

There will be food on offer as well as a comprehensive acoustic music programme on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Grand National steeplechase will be screened on Saturday afternoon.

An innovation this year is the siting of the entire festival on the ground floor. The entertainments stage will be situated within the Royal Hall alongside the bars, and food will be available in the Joe Loss suite.

Tickets have been pegged at last year’s prices of £5 a session and will be available in advance from the VillaGaiety box office, the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal and online.
