Manx Blind Welfare Society is appealing for the return of missing audio books following an audit of its library.

There should be more than 5,200 audio books available for people with visual impairments to borrow but the regular stocktake revealed a ’large number have been borrowed and not returned’.

The charity insists the library does not apply late fees and no one’s membership will be affected by a late return.

Audio books from Manx Blind Welfare Society are provided on cassette tapes and MP3 players, and can be identified by a label featuring the society’s name and address.
