Eight teams will battle it out on assault courses for charity, with the Chief Minister taking part himself.

The Festival First Aid ’It’s a Knockout’ competition takes place on Saturday (April 13) at the NSC athletics track from 12pm to 4.30pm.

Donations will fund first aid training for year six pupils (ages 10 and 11) by St John Ambulance.

Teams include: The Medicine Cabinet with Chief Minister Howard Quayle, MHKs Chris Thomas, Jason Moorhouse and Dr Alex Allinson; Tynwald Titans with MLCs Kerry Sharpe, Tanya Marie August-Hanson, David Cretney and Carlos Philip from the Cabinet Office; PWC Paramedics; KPMG - Accrual World; Tesco’s Warriors; RNLI Rescuers; Cowley Groves Crusaders and Knox Knockers.

Participants will have three hours of first aid training with their skills being put to the test in front of the public while tackling assault courses.

X Factor contestant Sam Black will perform and there will be a surprise X Factor appearance, free runners, magicians and refreshments.
