One of the island’s best-known voices is set to hold her Christmas concert in Douglas next week.

International blues and jazz singer Christine Collister is to return to the intimate setting of the Villa Marina Arcade on Wednesday, December 16, from 8pm.

Christine will be joined by a band of friends and fellow musicians, including singer Christy DeHaven, pianist Lindsay Rowe and husband and wife vocal duo Jo and Juan Callister for a celebration of Christmas, featuring a night of music which will span her long and illustrious career performing with some of the biggest names in music. There will also be a selection of some of the more popular festive songs and Christmas carols.

’We will have a night of delightful harmonies, familiar Christmas songs and carols to join in with and a few non-Christmassy but pertinent songs to fill the heart with joy,’ said Christine.

’We’re excited. We’ll have a laugh too and a mince pie with bubbles. What’s not to like?’

Ticket holders will be provided with a complimentary glass of prosecco or orange juice, and a mince pie, with doors open at 7.15pm.
