Christmas trees are on show at Ramsey’s town hall.

There are 15 exhibits from a wide range of organisations including C E Richmond Plumbers, Cloideryn, Hospice Isle of Man, Isle of Man Greyhound Aid League, Northern Theatre Experience at Ramsey Grammar School, Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond, Queen’s Pier Restoration Trust, Ramsey Baptist Church, Ramsey Grammar School, Ramsey Library, Ramsey RNLI Shop, Shennaghys Jiu and The Department of Villainy

The chairman of Ramsey Commissioners, Andy Cowie, said: ’I was really impressed with the Christmas trees and it was great to see so much effort put in for our first festival.

’All of the trees in the exhibition are excellent and really demonstrate the hard work put in by all the organisations who contributed.’

He added that some of the trees had a serious message and said it was a useful way to publicise an organisation’s aims to a wide audience.

’I would encourage everyone to visit the Town Hall and have a look at the trees over the festive season to admire the efforts of our contributors,’ Mr Cowie said.

’I would also like to pass on our grateful thanks for all those organisations who supported the festival and congratulate them on the quality, originality and variety of the trees.’

The Festival of Trees is on show until Friday, January 4. The trees are displayed on the ground floor and 1st floor mezzanine.
