Ciaran Cain has stepped into his father Paul’s shoes as the station mechanic at Peel lifeboat station.

Ciaran is 20 years old and enrolled as a crew member in 2016 and passed out as assistant mechanic in 2018.

He previously served time as an apprentice mechanic with the government and studied engineering and motor vehicle mechanics at University College of Man.
