A charge of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a claw hammer, against Ryan Kneen, aged 32, of Close Y Lhergy, Union Mills, has been dismissed.

The court heard that Kneen has recently received a custodial sentence in relation to other matters so the crown were offering no evidence for the offensive weapon allegation.
