People are being invited to go for an early morning walk on Easter Day (April 21).

Dalby Church is organising the event at 5.30am at the track at the top of the Sloc Road, to walk to the top of Cronk ny Arrey Laa for sunrise at 6.05am.

Organisers says people who go should have a torch, sturdy footwear and warm clothing.

PThere will be a brief ’Celtic-style reflection’ led by the local minister at sunrise.

Easter Communion at Dalby Church is at 6.30pm with traditional hymns in a church bedecked with flowers.

The Very Revd Nigel Godfrey will preside and Cheryl Cousins, the local minister, will preach and lead the worship.

Tea and home-cooking will follow the service.
