During the evening and overnight showers becoming frequent but they will become more isolated by the end of the night. Strong west to southwesterly wind will veer north or northwesterly through the evening and increase to gale or severe gale force for a time. Minimum temperature 4°C.

For tomorrow mainly dry with sunny spells and isolated showers, mainly in the southwest of the island. The gale or severe gale force wind will decrease through the day to strong to gale force for the afternoon and evening. Maximum temperature 6°C with significant wind chill.

Monday will be less windy but still cold with isolated showers becoming increasingly wintry over higher ground.
