A concert, held to mark the birthday of the Manx cultural icon Sophia Morrison, takes place in Peel next weekend.
The concert, held at the Peel Centenary Centre on Friday, May 24, from 7.30pm, will feature harpist Mera Royle, a recitation of TE Brown poetry by Deborah Taubman, Caarjyn Cooidjagh and the Manx Bard, Annie Kissack.
There will also be a performance of the Manx dialect play, ’In the Doctor’s Waiting Room’, performed by the Michael Players.
