Coroner John Needham has delivered an accidental death verdict on a worker who died in an accident at work in 2013.

Charles Gareth Sowden, then aged 55, of Castlemona Avenue in Douglas, was working on the sewage treatment plant construction site at Balleira Road in Kirk Michael when he was crushed by a heavy frame assembly on May 1, 2013. He died from multiple injuries. Mr Needham offered his condolences to Mr Sowden’s family.
