Manx-born country singer Becky Lawrence has teamed to with her mum to write her latest single.

Becky has released ’It’s Christmas’, a feel-good festive song that she wrote along side her mother, Julia Skillan, who still lives in the Isle of Man.

’It was a flash-in-the-pan idea but then we started scribbling lyrics and, before we knew it, we had a song of sorts,’ said Julia.

’It was great fun and a privilege to write this song with Bex.

’I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as we enjoyed writing and singing it together.’

Becky, who now lives in England, has enjoyed a highly successful year, despite the disruptions 2020 has thrown in her way.

She topped the UK country charts earlier this year with her single ’You Say’, along with which a nomination in the UK Country Music Awards for best artist, among many other accolades.

’It’s Christmas’ is now available to stream and download on all major platforms.
