A 34-year-old Ramsey woman has been bound over to keep the peace for 12 months.

Natalie Jane Bayle had a charge of provoking behaviour against her dismissed after she agreed to accept the binding order with a recognisance of £500.

Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain told the court how the complainant in the case had retracted his statement.

The court heard that police were called to St Paul’s Apartments in St Paul’s Square in Ramsey, where Bayle lives, on September 3 at 3am.

A man at the property said that Bayle, who is 34, had been verbally abusive, swearing and saying: ’I’m going to stab him in the neck. Grass. I’ll come back.’

Mr Swain said that the decision to offer the binding order had been taken after the retraction was received.
