Daniel William Kelly, aged 31, of no fixed address, has been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.

He has previously pleaded not guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 years.

The allegation can be heard only at the higher court.

He will appear at the higher court on a date to be set.

No bail application was made and he is remanded in custody.
