Bolivar Wisdom, aged 23, of Tynwald Terrace, Douglas, has pleaded not guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
The offence is alleged to have been committed on January 29 in Regent Street, Douglas.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on April 6.
He was represented in court by duty advocate James Peterson.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions to live at his home address and not to leave the island without court permission.
