A 37-year-old motorist has admitted drink-driving.
Jason Norman Harry Ernest McNulty, of Cullyn Path, Douglas, also pleaded guilty to having no insurance or valid driving licence.
The offences were committed on August 23, while he was driving a Citroen C3 on Peel Road in Douglas.
Prosecuting advocate Harry Bellis told the court that a blood sample had also been taken, relating to a drug test, and would be sent to the UK for analysis.
McNulty was said to be on police bail awaiting the outcome of that.
The case has been adjourned until November 24, when it is hoped there will be an update regarding the drug test results.
McNulty was represented in court by duty advocate John Wright.
Bail was granted.
