A 41-year-old man has denied stealing alcohol from Spar and perfume from Boots.
Peter Aaron Freeland, of Snaefell Road, Douglas, pleaded not guilty to both allegations, but guilty to possessing cannabis.
On September 13 last year, he is accused of stealing two cans of Au Vodka Cherry Aid and one can of Funkin Blue Raspberry from Spar store on Bucks Road in Douglas.
On April 18, he is accused of stealing perfume from Boots in Strand Street, Douglas.
He was represented in court by defence advocate Louise Cooil.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court, for the denied offences, on August 18.
Sentencing for the cannabis offence will take place after the outcome of any trials.
Bail continues.
