Twenty-one-year-old Thomas James Slinger had previously been charged with being drunk and disorderly, which he’d denied, but on July 21, he pleaded guilty to a replacement charge of being drunk in public.
The court heard that Slinger, of Foxglove Close, was arrested outside the Outback on May 30.
Security staff said that he had been removed from the bar, and had been aggressive, trying to re-enter on three occasions.
When interviewed, Slinger said he’d drunk five lagers and was ‘merry’, but denied being aggressive.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood also ordered the defendant to pay £125 prosecution costs.
He'll pay at a rate of £30 per week.
