A warrant without bail was yesterday issued for Daniel Sydney Andrews, aged 33, of Station Park, Colby.

He was found guilty of common assault after a trial last week and bailed to attend court yesterday.

However, he failed to turn up for court.

His advocate, Paul Rodgers, was in court and said that Andrews had messaged him on Monday to ask what time he was due in court.

However, Mr Rodgers told the High Bailiff had been unable to contact his client despite making several attempts.
