Eighty new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 551 active cases.

This is a slight fall from the February 1 total of 559 cases.

January 31’s case total was stable at 559 cases, but prior to this there had been a leap from 533 cases on January 30.

Of the latest 80 cases, 75 were detected by lateral flow test, and five by PCR test.

Seven people were in hospital with the virus, with none in intensive care.
