A Peel business that delivers business intelligence, analytics and services globally has won an innovation award at the Awards For Excellence.

The Sure Award for Innovation In Technology was presented to Steve Heeney of Cyberscience at the Isle of Man Newspapers’ event held in the Villa Marina this evening (Thursday).

Other contenders for the prestigious award included Safe Step, Hospice Isle of Man and Billboards.im.

The organisation consolidates data from many different business applications and presents it to users in the form of simple concise reports, charts, maps or in combined ‘dashboards’. Even larger reports which process tens of millions of transactions will run in seconds. Reports are owned and run by the business, not just by IT. Their system allows users to be able to interrogate the data in real time but without needing to be expert programmers. It avoids the need to create large, complex ‘data warehouses which can be difficult, costly and time-consuming to set up and manage. The judges said: ‘Cyberscience has achieved impressive results and have had great customer endorsement.’
