The covers are off - and they are Daleks no more!
Pepper-pot lighthouse sculptures on the replacement bridge at Old Laxey had been under wraps for months - and were unkindly dubbed Daleks by locals.
But now the work has been completed and the lighthouse sculptures have been revealed - one red and white and the other green and white, mirroring the real thing at Laxey harbour.
The new bridge replaces the 200-year-old arched structure that had to be demolished after it collapsed during flash floods in December 2015.
