Dave McMullen from Onchan raised £1,764.39 for Hospice Isle of Man by walking the TT course in memory of his Gran, Gladys Poland, who died in Hospice this year.

Dave said: ’She did a grand job of being a loving mum, caring gran and beautiful great gran.

’It’s now my turn to give something back to the people who made her comfortable and peaceful when she passed away.

’I’m really overwhelmed by people’s generosity and kind words - this truly means a lot so thank you. I would encourage people to donate so families going through what we went through are supported. Hospice Isle of Man and their staff are true angels among us, so I ask again please give what you can.’
