Martin Ian Nowak, aged 43, of Hailwood Avenue, Douglas, is to face a trial in summary court.
He has previously denied drink-driving, alleged to have been committed on November 8.
An expert’s back calculation is disputed.
He was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers.
Bail continues in the sum of £500.
