Howard John Pierce, aged 68, of Lheannag Park, Douglas, has pleaded not guilty to common assault.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on May 25.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on August 8.
Mr Pierce was represented in court by advocate Jane Gray.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with a condition not to contact the complainant.
