Edward Michael Lewin, aged 44, of Ballacricket Lane, Ronague, will face a trial in summary court on April 12.

He has previously pleaded not guilty to an allegation of assaulting a police officer.

Mr Lewin was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on July 22 last year.

Bail continues in the sum of £500.
