Onchan Commissioners chairman Anthony Allen has officially received three defibrillators on behalf of the authority.

The life saving devices were donated to the village by Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation having been arranged in conjunction with the IOM Ambulance Service.

The three defibrillators have been installed in Onchan Park, the community centre on School Road and by the public toilets in the centre of the village.

Mr Allen (centre) is pictured with Paul Healey, chairman of the charity and Paula Lunt, who started the charity following the death of her son Craig in 2005 from an undiagnosed heart defect.
