The Department of Infrastructure is maintaining its opposition to plans to build 10 houses on Caine’s Yard, The Shipyard, Ramsey.

Around 18 residents have raised concerns, mainly over access, especially for emergency vehicles and refuse wagons. The developer responded to these concerns but the DoI still has issues with refuse and larger vehicles accessing the development from Shipyard Road and Gibson Street.

In the light of strong opposition from the DoI, Ramsey Commissioners have decided not to make a submission.
