A domestic abuse case has been dropped against a Ramsey man.

Richard Alfred Christian, 51, of Gladstone Avenue, was free to leave court after the Crown said it would offer no evidence in respect of a charge of domestic abuse. A second count, of threats to cause serious harm, was withdrawn.

Deemster Graham Cook said no evidence was offered in view of Mr Christian’s not guilty plea to the domestic abuse charge in the summary court and he formally entered a not guilty verdict.
