Next Friday (February 16) there’s a double bill of films at Erin Arts Centre in A Night of Nostalgia.
The Great Double Bass Race, from 1978, is a documentary about a legendary competition held in Port Erin which was the world’s first classical double bass event, narrated by Fritz Spiegl.
This is followed by a film covering the visit of the Prince of Wales to the Erin Arts Centre in 1996, narrated by Marion Shimmin.
