Did you start Douglas High School for Girls between 1964 and 1966?

If so, Val Quayle would like to hear from you as she organises a reunion for July.

The event is for those who went to Ballakermeen Junior High School in the years 1964, 1965 or 1966 before going onto Park Road at the Douglas Legion Hall Friday, July 6, from 7.30pm until midnight.

Val asks if anyone going can bring along old photos or school memorabilia such as ties or medals.

Val said: ’Most pupils will be around retirement age.

’Please draw attention to this if any of your family or friends may be in this age group. Brownie points for those who remember the school song!’
