What is your idea of a perfect meal?
A massive big Indian banquet with a cold pint of lager and the three men in my life all sat laughing and being silly. Perfect.
What is your favourite way to relax?
If it was a special treat, a spa weekend with my girlie friends and lots of good food, laughter and fizz. With a buff and polish thrown in for extra r&r.
What is your greatest extravagance?
It used to be my gin collection but I’ve really gone off gin these days.
Do you have any pets?
We have just adopted our beautiful Belle from Animals in Distress. She is settling in well to our busy, adventurous household.
What is your greatest achievement?
Soppy and corny as it is, giving birth to my boys and being a mum. Noone can prepare you for that 24/7 job with no job description or training especially when you have no family close by or on hand to just have an hour off. Thank heavens I have a great friends!
What is your favourite time of the year?
Christmas without a doubt. All the sparkly, glittery build up and then that chance to shut the world out during the Christmas festivities. As well as it being my Birthday month.
What is the first job you ever had?
A newspaper round on my Raleigh Chopper around or estate in Northern Ireland when I was 12.
Do you have any irrational fears?
The big, deep blue sea. I love swimming in it but if I can’t see the bottom or loads of seaweed I get really panicky. This is after being stung by jellyfish in Crete when I was a student.
What is your worst habit?
Probably constantly saying sorry.
What is your favourite book?
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo triology. I was hooked by page 10.
What is your favourite TV programme?
Game Of Thrones all the way. Nothing can ever beat that program, ever.
What is your favourite band/artist at the moment?
Faithless. They were just starting out when I started to work the festival circuit in the 90s so one summer every festival I went to they were performing.
What is your favourite part of the Isle of Man?
Kirk Michael coastline, particularly that stretch of beach when the tide is out from Glen Moar to Glen Wyllin. Beautiful.
What is the last show/band that you saw live?
Stereo MCs at the recent Beatherder festival. They’ve still got it.
If time/money were no object, what would be your perfect day?
A water park somewhere hot with my boys and a great cocktail bar near the sun loungers.
Choose three people, dead or alive, to invite to dinner?
Sue Perkins from GBBO. She cracks me up and has the same sense of humour as me. John Snow, because I’d stare at him all night, and Sean Connery I bet he has many stories to tell.
