Yellow dresses, yellow ties and yellow socks will be worn by the public for a day to raise funds for victims of sexual abuse and violence.

The charity Victim Support Isle of Man is encouraging Manx residents to wear the colour as part of its campaign, which takes place on Friday next week (February 8).

This is part of the Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week, starting on Monday.

The hashtag #itsnotokay2019 will be used across the British Isles.

Organisations that have already signed up to do the yellow day include: Equiom; First Names; Bridson & Horrox; Newfield; Doxbond; Utopia; IOM Treasury; Attorney Generals Chambers; Department of Home Affairs; and Smith Taubitz Unsworth Isle of Man; Onchan Rotary and Eric Faragher Ltd.
