The weather forecast from the Met Office:

Dry and bright at first this morning, but turning cloudy with rain arriving into the afternoon, becoming persistent and often heavy with standing water developing on the island's roads. A light to moderate east to north-easterly wind with highs of 18 or possibly 19°C.

Rain will continue at first this evening, but will gradually clear to showers later. A mainly moderate east to northeast wind with minimum temperature near to 12°C.

Tomorrow morning will be cloudy and misty with some showery outbreaks of rain, which will clear around lunchtime, leaving the rest of the day mostly dry with some brightness breaking through. A top temperature of 18°C, as the moderate easterly wind turns to the southwest and freshens.

Much of Saturday will be dry with some hazy sunshine, before heavy rain arrives overnight into Sunday. Highest temperature around 17°C as the south to southwest wind becomes strong by evening.
