The Met Office forecast for Sunday: ‘Dry and bright today with spells of sunshine, especially in the north, but hill fog will develop by late morning with some coastal mist or fog in the south and east.

‘The light southeast breezes turning southwesterly later this morning with temperatures reaching 22 Celsius in the north of the island but a few degrees cooler in the south.
