A dusk and dawn bat watch takes place at Silverdale Glen this weekend.

The Manx Bat Group are inviting residents to join them when they head out at 9.30pm on Saturday and again at 4am on Sunday.

It’s a chance to see young bats taking their first independent flights.

Bat detectors and high-viz vests will be loaned to everyone that needs them.
