Students currently unable to collect their possessions from universities and colleges in the UK are being asked to contact the government.
Manx students who had to leave their uni homes at short notice due to Covid-19, were forced to leave many of their possessions behind.
Whilst some students have managed to use storage facilities and their universities have provided assistance, others in private rental accommodation are increasingly concerned about the attitude of some landlords.
Dr Alex Allinson Minister for Education, Sport and Culture, said: ‘We fully understand the concerns and frustration of our students who are separated from their belongings.
’We ask anyone is this position to get in touch so we can assess the extent of the problem and consider what help can be provided.’
If you might need help boxing and storing your belongings or have them shipped back to the Island please email your details and the university you attend to [email protected] this week.
